Huge Wedding Fair & Ladies Day, including Designer Wedding Dress & Posh Frock Charity Auction, Sunday 17th April 2016 at Holiday Inn Hotel, Walsall WS2 0BS
STOP PRESS! We are very excited to announce that on Sunday 17th April, at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Walsall (postcode WS2 0BS), My Forever Home Animal Rescue will be holding our biggest fundraiser to date! It may be a little unexpected from an animal rescue, but we are putting on a huge wedding fair/ladies day spread over two large function suites, alongside an auction of over 60 very kindly donated brand new designer wedding and bridesmaid dresses, posh frocks and prom gowns, with a retail value in excess of £25,000!
Everything must go, so with prices starting at just £50 for wedding dresses and £20 for everything else, from designers such as Maggie Sottero, Alfred Angelo and Paloma Blanca to name just a few, we are expecting a very busy event! There’s a huge range of styles and sizes from 8 – 26, so we’re sure to have something you’ll love.
Being held in conjunction with Greyhound Gap, who many of our supporters will know as we attend their fab dog shows at Walsall Arboretum, the wedding fair/ladies day will run alongside the dress auction, where all the dresses will be modelled so that you can see them shown at their best. Over thirty suppliers will be showcasing their fabulous wares and services, providing everything you need for the perfect wedding, and many will be offering discounts you can only get on the day! Many stalls are aimed not specifically at brides to be, offering gorgeous products and services all women will love, fabulous craft stalls you name it. Lots of small home based businesses showing off things you’re guaranteed to fall in love with 🙂
More details of the wedding fair exhibitors, and pictures of the gorgeous dresses, will be added in the coming weeks, but for now please just book the date in your diary. The venue is very easy to find, at junction 10 on the M6, accessed off Wolverhampton Road, and as we need to monitor numbers for safety purposes, we advise getting there early! Doors will open at 11.30am, with the auction starting at 12.30pm.
Entry is just £2, which includes one free entry into our raffle, which has some really valuable prizes to be won, worth well in excess of £1,000 – such as a brand new iPad mini, worth over £250! They include great donations from our lovely exhibitors, anyone enjoying shopping, pampering, champagne, chocolates etc will be provided for… so that’s probably 99% of you! There will also be rails of other gorgeous donated clothes, along with shoes, bags, hats you name it! As all profits will be split between the two rescues, with even the venue being heavily discounted (thank you, Holiday Inn), you’ll have the added warm fuzzy feeling of knowing your money will really be benefiting local animals in need. It’s just the icing on the [wedding? 😉 ] cake that you will also save yourself a huge amount of money on some really stunning dresses, with individual RRPs up to almost £1,000!
