One week and counting to our amazing wedding dress bargain auction!
One week and counting! A brilliant day was had by all at the Fairytale Dreams West Brom wedding fair today, and a very good dry run it was for us for next week! It was slightly hysterical from start (M6 closed on the way; urgent re-routing needed) to finish (gale force winds almost blowing us to Oz whilst trying to re-load the dresses!), via our first ever catwalk show… how quickly we can get girls out of one dress and into another has now been revised!
We met some really lovely brides to be, such as the stunning Unique, in this gorgeous red beaded dress – it should be very easy to track down Unique on Facebook to tag her, she definitely lives up to her name! We also told loads of people about our bargain wedding dress and other posh frock auction and wedding fair being held at Holiday Inn, J10 M6, WS2 0BS on the 17th, more details here if this is the first you’ve seen of it… just one week away now, is the date firmly saved in your diary? We hope it is, it’s a definite one-chance-only event!
It was as always a really good laugh, whilst also being a tremendous amount of hard work by a very dedicated team, who we owe a huge debt to – Diane, Lee-anne and Sue, driving an hour each way to help, and our gorgeous models Chloe, Ellie, Maria and a lovely girl we just met today, Sophie. You are all stars, giving up your day to help raise awareness, which will in turn mean more money raised on the day for our animals in need <3 <3 <3
