My Forever Home

Over our years in rescue all of us at My Forever Home have seen and experienced things we would never dream of doing to others. We know our supporters are our lifeblood and that without you we will achieve nothing.

That is why we wanted to make these commitments to you personally, at this very early stage:

• We will never ask more of you than you are willing and able to give.
• We will never put you in a position where you feel uncomfortable or as if you have been ‘backed into a corner’.
• If you agree to help us in whatever way, on the understanding we are going to take action of some kind, you can be assured we will not change our minds, back out, or otherwise let you down.
• We know that time, money and energy are all extremely important and we will always do our utmost never to waste any of yours.
• We know how frustrating it is to be unable to contact someone when you ‘really’ need them, so you will always have our personal numbers to use in those situations.
• We will always strive to be the kind of rescue you want to be associated with, so will always take on board (even if we aren’t quite able to implement them at that time) any ideas, suggestions or improvements you make.
• Lastly, when we make a mistake which is sure to happen, we hope you will bear with us as we do our best to put things right as quickly as possible.

We are far from perfect but we will always show you good manners, be grateful for anything you give us and basically treat you as we always wanted to be treated ourselves, ie with respect. Please note that these comments are not aimed at any individual rescue or occasion; more they are a general feeling at how sometimes, things were not done as we would have wished so MFH gives us an opportunity to do things differently.
