Testimonials
All of us (Jane, Nat and Rox) have been lucky enough to meet some of the most amazing, generous-hearted people around since becoming involved in rescue. As we are finalising the planning of My Forever Home at the moment (so we don’t go off half-cocked!), we thought it might be helpful for people to read how others in rescue view us, in this period before we have our own ‘happy ever after’ stories [blushing already...]:
“My name is Cherry Reed, Trustee and Transport Coordinator for Homeless-Hounds.
First of all – congratulations on the launch of MFH – another much needed rescue to help the unwanted animals.
I have worked with and received help from all the girls involved with MFH, from transporting and fundraising to help from them in securing rescue spaces for some of the Homeless-Hounds pound dogs. It’s fantastic that such a dedicated and trustworthy group of people have joined forces to offer unwanted animals a further chance.
May the team at Homeless-Hounds thank you for all your help in the past, and look forward to be able to continue to work with you in the future.”

I met Jane, Nat and Roxanne of ‘My Forever Home’ through the Rescue Aid for Animals (RAFA) forum and they have since been a huge help, both in finding places, and by assisting with transport, for the sighthounds, and other desperate and forgotten poundies that we help in the North East.
In my experience, they are all whole heartedly committed to animal welfare, and whenever possible will offer their help and support, in whatever way is necessary, to ensure a safe future for any animals in need. I wish them every success with their much needed new rescue, which I’m sure will put the needs of the animals first, at all times. Good luck girls!
